What We Do

Since 2017, when Morningstar purchased our first Haas CNC machine, we have been reverse engineering, designing, programming, machining and assembling prototype and production soft bait fishing molds. We have also designed programmed and machined parts from aluminum, brass, bronze, plastics and stainless steel for the aerospace, defense, firearms, food, industrial, manufacturing, recreational and safety sectors. Morningstar has produced part lots from 1 to over 20,000 items. Almost every item we use in our manufacturing processes is built and assembled in the USA from American components.
Reverse Engineering

We use the Geomagic Design X Software partnered with a 3D Systems Geomagic Capture Desktop 3D Scanner.
Solid Model Design

We use the industry standard SolidWorks 3D CAD Design Software for solid model design of parts, assemblies, and drawings.
CNC Programming

For CNC programming and machine simulation, we use the powerfully simple, simply powerful GibbsCAM software.
Manual Machining

Our Sharp LMV-50 3 HP Vertical Milling Machine is used for all manual machining.
CNC Machining

We use Haas 3-axis, 4-axis and 5-axis Vertical Machining Centers with optional 50,000 rpm Air Turbine Spindles for CNC Machining.
